Группа Less Than Jake образовалась в 1992 году во Флориде как power-pop трио. В конце 1993 года в группе появляется саксофон и тромбон, и они начинают играть самый настоящий ska-punk. Первый альбом Pezzcore выходит на Dill Records в 1994 году, пластинка хорошо себя зарекомендовала, и группа начала приобретать популярность. Агенты с Capitol Records приобрели CD Less Than Jake на одном из концертов и потом преследовали их в течении всего тура по стране, результатом этого стал подписанный контракт.
С тех пор LTJ выпустили просто громадное количество различных пластинок, синглов, "семёрок", бутлегов, а так же насколько я знаю один DVD. Советую их всем любителям ска-панка и панкухи с дудками.
